Talking Technology and Transportation — or T3 — webinars are interactive net meetings where ITS subject matter experts (SME) present best practices and lessons learned on a wide range of topics related to ITS planning, procurement, deployment, and operations. T3 webinars draw SMEs from academia and research, private industry, and public-sector transportation agencies. Webinars cover issues related to highway, transit, commercial vehicle, and cross-modal ITS applications. T3 Webinars are sponsored by the ITS Professional Capacity Building Program at the U.S. Department of Transportation's ITS Joint Program Office, Research and Innovative Technology Administration.

T3 Webinars 101
- T3 Webinars last 90 minutes and usually begin at 1:00 p.m. ET. Presenters deliver their presentations in the first 60 minutes and then take questions in the last 30 minutes.
- T3 Webinars are designed to be interactive. Participants can submit questions any time during the webinar. In general, questions are answered during the designated Q&A period.
- You join to a T3 Webinar by connecting to 1) a net conference and 2) a toll-free teleconference. You view presentations on your screen, as they are advanced by the presenter, and listen to the discussion through your telephone receiver.
- If you miss a webinar, you can access the webinar's audio and written transcripts, including presentations used in the webinar, in the T3 Archives approximately three weeks after the webinar.
- T3 Webinars currently use Microsoft Live Meeting 2007 net conferencing software. Webinar participants are encouraged to install the software ahead of the scheduled webinar. For more information or to install Live Meeting, follow these instructions.
- Announcement of new T3 Webinars are distributed by email to individuals on the T3 mailing list and through other distribution venues. If you would like to be added to the T3 mailing list, email T3@dot.gov.
We hope to see you at a future T3 webinar.
