Talking Technology and Transportation (T3) Webinars are interactive online meetings where subject matter experts (SME) present noteworthy practices and lessons learned on a wide range of topics or issues related to ITS planning, design, procurement, deployment, or operations. T3 webinars draw SMEs from academia and research, private industry, and—most often—from public-sector highway and transit agencies and their resident pool of experienced, frontline ITS implementers.
Webinars focus on mode-specific or intermodal topics; practices related to ITS devices, such as dynamic message signs, traffic signals, or applications such as Road Weather Information Systems; or on cross-cutting concerns, such as systems engineering, ITS architecture and standards, or wireless communications. T3 Webinars are sponsored by the ITS Professional Capacity Building Program at the U.S. Department of Transportation's ITS Joint Program Office, Research and Innovative Technology Administration.
