T3 Webinar Software Requirement

Important Update: T3 webinars now use Microsoft Live Meeting 2007 net conferencing software instead of Live Meeting 2005. Webinar attendees who attempt to join a T3 webinars using Live Meeting 2005 will be prompted to download Live Meeting 2007. We recommend that you install Live Meeting 2007 on your PC well ahead of the webinar. See installation directions below.

Please note: Live Meeting 2007 and Live Meeting 2005 are independent software applications. The use of Live Meeting 2005 for other net conferencing services has no bearing on the use of Live Meeting 2007 in T3 Webinars.

Directions to Install Live Meeting 2007:

Install Microsoft Live Meeting 2007 prior to attempting to join a T3 Webinar. This is a one-time installation.

  1. Go to http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/help/HA101733831033.aspx
  2. Click on the Accept Terms and Install Client link at the bottom of the page.
  3. When prompted, select "Run" and then "Run" again. This launches the installation process.
  4. The "Installing MS Office Live Meeting 2007" dialogue box displays the progress of the installation.
  5. After the download, Live Meeting 2007 does not generate the standard "download complete" message. You can verify that the download was successful in either of two ways:
    1. Check that Live Meeting 2007 appears in the Start>Programs menu.
    2. Check that Live Meeting 2007 appears in the Control Panel. (Start>Settings>Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs.)
