Connected Vehicle Training

The ITS Joint Program Office has released a web-based training course which provides an introduction to the Connected Vehicle Reference Implementation Architecture (CVRIA). CVRIA provides a functional representation of the Connected Vehicle environment which can be used as a reference to define Connected Vehicle projects. The purpose of this training is to acquaint public and private sector professionals with the background, structure, website, and use of the CVRIA. Students will be able to effectively navigate the website to find the CVRIA content they need for their connected vehicle project definition. The course material is presented in a web-based format using Adobe Presenter with narration by instructors from the National ITS Architecture team.

ITS PCB Standards Training log ITS PCB Standards Training Modules

The ITS Professional Capacity Building Program (ITS PCB) offers FREE web-based ITS standards training. The ITS Standards Training series is aimed at practitioners in state and local highway agencies and transit agencies who seek the skills needed to procure, test, implement, and operate standards-based systems. Training includes a 48-module series that discusses standards used mostly in ITS highway applications and includes crosscutting information about test cases, test plans, and requirements specification. An additional 21-module series focuses exclusively on standards used in transit-based equipment and systems.
